چکیده

We present evidence in terms of a D’Alembertain operator acting on a scalar field minus the first derivative of a potential system, with respect to an inflaton scalar field, that the Penrose model as outlined as an alternative to cosmological big crunch models gives us emergent behavior for an inflaton scalar field in early universe cosmological models. This is in contrast to the Coleman-Weinberg potential which in low temperature conditions is always presenting almost non existent emergent scalar fields. This permits us to state that Penrose’s cyclic universe model in its initial conditions gives us scalar field dynamics consistent with emergent scalar fields which die out quickly as temperature drops after the onset of inflation. We make no attempt to find the particulars of the conformal mapping which allows the alternative to the big crunch Penrose (2007) lectured upon in the inaugural meeting of the IGC at Penn State.. c © Electronic Journal of Theoretical Physics. Dual nature of Ricci scalar and creation of spinless particles

Abstract. Manifestation of Ricci scalar like a matter field as well as a geometrical field, at high energy, has been noted earlier [9], Here, its interaction, with another scalar field is considered in four-dimensional curved space-time. This interaction leads to the production of a large number of pairs of spinless particle-antiparticle due to expansion of the early universe in the vacuum stat...

A meshless discrete Galerkin method for solving the universe evolution differential equations based on the moving least squares approximation

In terms of observational data, there are some problems in the standard Big Bang cosmological model. Inflation era, early accelerated phase of the evolution of the universe, can successfully solve these problems. The inflation epoch can be explained by scalar inflaton field. The evolution of this field is presented by a non-linear differential equation. This equation is considered in FLRW model...

Non-perturbative Analysis of the Coleman-weinberg Phase Transition

We perform a non-perturbative study of the Coleman-Weinberg phase transition in scalar QED. Our method permits a consistent treatment of the effective potential near the origin, a region not accessible to perturbation theory. As a result, we establish reliably the first order character of the phase transition for arbitrary values of the scalar coupling. e-mail: [email protected] e-ma...

Coleman-weinberg Phase Transition in Two-scalar Models

We explore the Coleman-Weinberg phase transition in regions outside the validity of perturbation theory. For this purpose we study a Euclidean field theory with two scalars and discrete symmetry in four dimensions. The phase diagram is established by a numerical solution of a suitable truncation of exact non-perturbative flow equations. We find regions in parameter space where the phase transit...

Inflation and Unification

Two distinct classes of realistic inflationary models consistent with present observations are reviewed. The first example relies on the Coleman-Weinberg potential and is readily realized within the framework of spontaneously broken global symmetries (for instance, global U(1)B−L). Depending on the parameters either new or large field inflation is possible. The second example exploits supersymm...
